Powerful Beneficial Extracts from an Otherwise Pesky Plant

CLE Mood Effex is comprised of natural, vegetarian organic components extracted from the following plants:

  • Tribulus terrestris (Punctureweed)
  • Nardostachys chinensis (a variety of Spikenard, or Nard)
  • Angelica sinensis Root (Dong Quai, aka Female Ginseng)
  • Cyperus rotundus Root (Purple Nutsedge)
  • Albizia julibrissin Durazz Flower (Persian Silk Tree)
  • Morinda officinalis Root (Ba Ji Tian, aka Indian Mulberry)
  • St. John’s Wort (Hypericum perforatum)

Tribulus terrestris, aka Punctureweed, is botanically a hardy annual Caltrop-family plant with a taproot; it’s a traditional Indian and Chinese source of medicinal extracts. Other healing substances may also be obtained from its leaves and its fruits. All of these are believed to be ‘mood enhancers.’ In colder climates, it’s a ‘summer annual.’

Punctureweed

In North America and also in Australia, Punctureweed is considered a pesky invasive pest plant. Its fruits contain seeds with long sharp hard spikes, which can flatten bicycle tires, injure bare human feet, and become embedded into the hooves of livestock. The plant grows very well in dry semi-desert areas like the American Southwest and the Australian Outback. It grows low to the ground, and is hard to eradicate in areas where it isn’t wanted; mowing doesn’t faze it, and most herbicides powerful enough to kill it also kill lots of other plants.

Despite these negative properties, certain extracts from Punctureweed have long been believed to be very good for human bodies in a myriad of ways. Some of these beneficial effects have been at least partially validated by controlled experiments. Punctureweed extracts are used as mood enhancers; they are often considered helpful for bladder, kidney, urinary-tract, and reproductive-organ problems, and also for heart and circulatory-system ailments including angina, high blood pressure, and excessive cholesterol. They can function as a mild diuretic. They are also often believed useful for skin ailments including Eczema and Psoriasis, for digestive issues including constipation and flatulence, and for cancer of the nose. Bodybuilders and some researchers use them help build muscle and to improve bodily testosterone levels, although test results in these areas haven’t yet been conclusive.

Tribulus Terrestris Supplement

CLE Holistic Health grows its own Punctureweed under controlled organic conditions, in restricted areas, and obtains medical extracts from it using careful proprietary methodology. These extracts, together with the six other medicinal-plant extracts in CLE Holistic Health Mood Effex, combine synergistically into a potent mood-elevating herbal liquid, available to you measured in gelatin-capsule form. If you suffer from mild to moderate depression, won’t you try some Mood Effex?
